How Our Insurance Restoration Process Works
1. Schedule a free damage assessment
We walk the damage with you, photograph everything, and prepare the line-item repair estimate your claim needs — at no cost.
2. We handle the insurance paperwork
We send your adjuster the itemized scope, walk the loss with them if needed, and file supplements when hidden damage turns up — so the claim matches the real cost.
3. We rebuild on a fixed price
Permits, trades, and materials — one contract, one team, no surprise change orders.
4. Final inspection and sign-off
The project ends when the work passes inspection and your home looks like the damage never happened.
Insurance Restoration Questions, Answered
Does Blue Lake work with homeowners insurance claims?
Yes. We regularly rebuild homes under homeowners insurance claims — water and pipe-burst damage, storm and wind damage, fallen trees, and fire and smoke repairs. We provide the detailed, line-item repair estimate your adjuster needs, document the damage with photos, and communicate directly with your insurer so the claim reflects what the repair actually costs.
What kinds of insurance damage do you repair?
Structural and framing repairs, roof and siding replacement, drywall, flooring, and cabinetry, through full kitchen or bathroom rebuilds after water damage — and whole-section reconstruction when part of the home has to be rebuilt. Once mitigation (drying, board-up) is complete, we take the project from damaged shell to finished, inspected space.
Will you work directly with my insurance adjuster?
Yes. We can walk the loss with your adjuster, supply itemized scopes, and submit supplement documentation when hidden damage turns up during demolition, so the rebuild isn't stalled by the claim. You stay in control — you always see the same numbers your insurer sees.
What if my insurance payout doesn't cover everything I want?
Many homeowners use an insurance repair as the moment to upgrade — better finishes, a reworked layout, even added square footage. We price the covered repair and the upgrade separately, so insurance pays its share and you only pay the difference for improvements, all under one fixed-price contract.
